Shipping
All orders are sent using ground carriers for shipment. Typically, in-stock items are shipped within 7-10 days, unless otherwise specified on the product detail page. Depending on the destination, deliveries may take an additional 2-4 weeks after the shipping date. It is important to note that the shipping times provided are estimates and not guarantees. Prior to delivery, our carriers will reach out to you to arrange a suitable delivery timeframe. Free shipping is available for most of our products within the continental United States, excluding Alaska and Hawaii. For more information, please consult our delivery acceptance instructions.
Shipping Time
All delivery dates provided on tijorishome.com are estimates and subject to change. The exact delivery date may be influenced by factors such as production timelines, overseas loading plans, and logistics of freight shipments. In the event that a customer misses the scheduled delivery arranged with the shipping company, an additional fee of $95 will be charged to their account. It is important for customers to understand that delays caused by logistics or the production schedules of third parties are beyond the control of Tijoris Home. Tijoris Home does not have any affiliations with manufacturers, overseas ports, vessels, or freight shipping companies. For local deliveries, Tijoris Home will coordinate with the customer to schedule a confirmed day and time authorized solely by the delivery department.
Delivery
Shipping furniture can be quite challenging. Our approach to shipping differs from the traditional package delivery services such as UPS or FedEx. Instead, we palletize the furniture items and utilize ground freight services provided by various companies, which you may or may not be familiar with. We are pleased to offer the following delivery services for our furniture:
Small Parcel
Whenever feasible, we will utilize renowned shipping providers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, or USPS for smaller and lighter items. These companies offer the fastest and most dependable shipping methods for many of the items we offer. Depending on the proximity of your location to the shipping warehouse, you can expect your item to arrive within 1 to 6 business days (or 1 to 10 business days for USPS) after it has been dispatched from the warehouse. While a signature is not mandatory for delivery, please note that the decision to leave the package without a signature rests with the delivery personnel. If you prefer to have your item left at your doorstep, we recommend leaving a note on your door instructing the driver to leave the package with "No Signature Required." Remember to include your name and tracking number on the note for clarity.
Premium White Glove Delivery *South Florida Only*
For selected items, there is an optional delivery service available at an extra cost, which varies depending on the item and destination. Please note that any items eligible for Free Shipping do not include this service. The delivery service in question entails transporting the product to the desired room and includes the second floor of your residence and installing it accordingly. Upon reaching the desired room, the shipper will unpack the product and perform basic setup using basic tools (e.g., screwing or bolting pieces together, placing pieces next to or on top of each other). Additionally, the shipper will remove and dispose of all packaging within a limited timeframe of 30 minutes. It's important to clarify that unless explicitly stated as "White Glove Delivery," any shipping charges paid by the customer do not constitute a white glove service. Please be aware that the shipper will not handle electrical or component wires, nor will they mount mirrors or artwork on walls, as our delivery personnel are not licensed contractors in accordance with the law. The customer bears full responsibility for measuring their space and ensuring that the furniture fits and clears all doorways, stairways, or elevators. Premium White Glove Delivery Available In South Florida Only.
Tijoris Home offers a White Glove Delivery Service at an additional charge with installation and debris removal with a minimum purchase of $1500.
IMPORTANT: DELIVEERY ACCEPTANCE INSUTRCTIONS
Before shipping, all items undergo a rigorous quality control inspection to ensure their condition. As a result, furniture deliveries are typically received in good condition, unless they incur damage during transit.
You have both a right AND a responsibility to inspect all items carefully during the delivery.
Customers who sign for delivery and do not notate "Damage upon delivery" assume responsibility if merchandise is damaged. If the product itself appears severely damaged or it’s the wrong item you must take pictures of the packaging when being unloaded or while in the truck, you should submit the pictures and you may refuse the delivery. Please notify Tijoris Home by emailing us at inquiries@tijorishome.com and please add your order# in your subject line of refusal so we can anticipate the return and send out a new item.
To ensure a smooth delivery process, we kindly request that you make arrangements to be prepared and have assistance available, as many of our deliveries involve large and heavy items. Upon receiving your merchandise, we recommend opening the items out of the packaging in the presence of the driver to check for any damages. In the event that the truck driver is unwilling to wait for you to inspect the actual item, it is crucial that you write the following on the delivery receipt: "TRUCK DRIVER REFUSED TO WAIT" and "DAMAGED UPON ARRIVAL." This will help us address any issues promptly.
If the packaging or product has any damage or if there is any reason you are concerned with the delivery:
- If it is damaged you MUST write "Product Damaged" on the tracking company's receipt called proof of delivery or the Bill Of Lading (BOL) prior to signing off.
- If anything from your order is missing you MUST list the missing items including their SKU on the delivery receipt.
- You MUST retain applicable packaging materials and email us immediately at inquiries@tijorishome.com and add your order# in your subject line
- Take clear pictures of the damaged items immediately.
**In the event that damage is not noted on the waybill when signed "received in good condition", on the delivery receipt or the applicable packaging materials are not retained, would make it impossible to file a claim with the tracking company. In this case, it will be impossible for us to help out with any claim filed.**
All orders will usually be ready within 24 hours of your order placement date. Please note orders placed on Saturday will not be ready for pickup until the following Monday as our showroom and warehouse are closed on Sundays.
